Delivering Change is a powerful, community-driven initiative in Geary County, created to address critical needs: healthier women, stronger families, and brighter futures for every baby born in our community.
In 2011, alarming statistics revealed serious concerns about the health of babies born to Geary County mothers. In response, the Geary County Perinatal Coalition came together to take action—and Delivering Change: Healthy Families–Healthy Communities was born.
Through a Four-Pronged Approach—focusing on Women’s Health, Infant Health, Breastfeeding, and Fatherhood—Delivering Change is breaking down barriers to healthcare, strengthening family support systems, and transforming outcomes for parents and children alike.
Together, we’re not just improving birth outcomes—we’re building a healthier, more resilient community for generations to come.
